Description:
The session will allow participants to gain an understanding of the experiences that transgender students may be going through in elementary, middle, and high school.  They will learn definitions related to gender identity that will allow them to be more informed on the topic.  They will also go through different scenarios that may occur in school and how they would support transgender students in these situations.  The answers to the scenarios will be based on the law and AACPS Guidelines for Supporting Transgender Students.
